OMG the Musical is the story of a woman (Gafuma) marginalized by patriarchy in her society. To discover her potentials, she revisits the past where she met with Olufunmilayo Ransome-Kuti, Margaret Ekpo and Gambo Sawaba who help her identify her strength.
The primary message of OMG among many others is that a girl child must be able to dream and have equal rights of participation.

OMG the musical premiered in Lagos in December 2019, and has been shown an additional 15 times in Lagos and Abuja, including a Drive-In theatre at the Sheraton Football pitch, Abuja.

OMG Cast
Olumide Dada popularly known as Olumide Baritone is a professional performing artist and Baritone Soloist. He played the challenging role of the Supreme Commander in the just concluded production of the OMG in Abuja to celebrate the international women’s day powered by the European Union, and his delivery of the role was absolutely sensational.
Olumide is a graduate of the MUSON Diploma School of Music. He was privileged to have the international award winning choral director and voice trainer, Sir Emeka Nwokedi as his personal voice teacher while in music school. Olumide has featured in and played lead roles in musicals and operas including : Jesus christ super star produced by the play house initiative , Saro the Musical, produced by Bolanle Austin Peters productions, Fela arrest the music, produced by Declassical Arts & Entertainment, Pirates of Penzance, produced by the Musical Society of Nigeria, The Battered Bride, also produced by the Musical Society of Nigeria and a lot more.
